Sheltered, ideal for bathing.
Beach in semi-urban environment, in the shape of a half shell, with fine white sand and pine forest nearby. Sheltered from the southwest and northwest winds. Moderate waves, ideal to enjoy the bath. Suitable for observing the impressive natural beauty of the area, nearby, the Sierra da Faladoira and the lighthouse of Estaca de Bares.
This beach is divided into two parts at high tide, one part in the urban and port area and the other known as Iglesia Vella, with an extensive dune area and divided in turn by a high and rocky ledge.
